As a former DPSCD employee, Cidney has seen first-hand how school employees and students face challenges. She has worked the front lines doing the work to support our children directly. 

Besides her experience in education, Cidney has worked tirelessly as a social justice advocate for the city of Detroit. She understands that policy affects real lives. 

Our school board needs someone who will advocate for every student and support the educators who help shape our children's futures. Cidney doesn't just identify problems, she creates solutions.
